Ruby’s Diner, which transports guests back to the 1940s with its bright red vinyl booths, white Formica tables, soda fountains and commercial art that echoes the swing era, will open a location at Newark Liberty International later this month.
The 2,231-sq.-ft. eatery will be located post-security in Terminal C2 and will seat about 80 customers. Menu offerings will include breakfast, burgers, salads, fries, shakes and more.
“The Newark airport location is full-service with a streamlined menu designed for faster service,” says Doug Cavanaugh, chief executive officer of Ruby’s Diner. “The menu includes all of the Ruby’s Diner favorites our guests have come to know and love. All of our menu items are available for dine-in or take-out. A select number of menu items will also be available for grab-and-go.”
The EWR location, which will be operated by Famous Famiglia, will be open seven days a week from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ruby's Diner is expanding with a new location at Newark Liberty International Airport, scheduled to open in November. Ruby's Diner is an Orange County, Calif. based restaurant group with more than 40 locations throughout Southern California, Washington, Pennsylvania and Colorado.
